If we increase or decrease the mah value, will it affect the Camera?

The mah stands for milli amp hours, it basically is the strength of the battery or how long it will last. The higher the mah the longer the batteries will last between charges. It is safe to substitute

The mAh value of a battery is the capacity of it. 2700mAh means that the battery can deliver a constant 2700 milliamps of power for 1 hour. Increasing the mAh will give you more battery life.
So as long as the voltages are the same, the camera will work fine.
